‘Faral’ (फराळ) is the highlight of Diwali celebration in Maharashtra - traditionally had for breakfast and offered to guests coming home to join in the festivities. A mix of both sweet and savoury snacks, deep fried in Ghee and regional oils to make buttery crisp snacks.
