Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large sets of data to help drive business decisions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights that contribute to the company's growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Collection & Cleaning: Gather and preprocess data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights, providing actionable recommendations.
- Reporting & Visualization: Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Statistical Analysis: Perform statistical analysis using tools such as Excel, R, Python, or SQL.
- Business Support: Collaborate with various departments to understand data needs and provide data-driven solutions.
- Trend Monitoring: Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track business performance.
- Database Management: Assist in maintaining and improving the company’s data infrastructure, ensuring data integrity.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions based on data insights.
- Data Presentations : Candidate should have relevant experience in presenting the data to the management. He/She should have good communication skills.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Strong knowledge of statistical methods and techniques.
- Experience with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with data warehousing or cloud-based data solutions (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
- Experience in a specific industry (e.g., Retail , FMCG , Ecommerce , New age companies ) is advantageous.
