Area Sales Manager – North India

Job Purpose:

To drive sales growth, strengthen distributor networks, and expand retail presence across the North India region while ensuring effective channel and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and expand distributor network across assigned territories

  • Drive primary and secondary sales to achieve regional targets

  • Strengthen retail presence, visibility, and market penetration

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners and key stakeholders

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify growth opportunities

  • Ensure effective execution of trade schemes, promotions, and activations

  • Track sales performance, prepare reports, and review KPIs regularly

  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) for smooth operations

  • Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables

Key Requirements:

  • 5–8 years of experience in FMCG/Food industry sales

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

  • Strong distributor and channel management experience

  • Good understanding of North India market dynamics

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region

Preferred Qualification:
