ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a talented and motivated Illustrator & Packaging Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with a portfolio showcasing their ability to create compelling illustrations and effective packaging designs. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and the ability to translate concepts into visually engaging designs.
What are we looking for:
- Illustration: Create high-quality, original illustrations that align with project goals and brand aesthetics. Develop illustrations for various uses including marketing materials, digital content, and print.
- Packaging Design: Design innovative and functional packaging solutions that enhance product appeal and user experience. Ensure that packaging designs meet brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and production teams to understand design requirements and project objectives. Provide creative input and solutions throughout the design process.
- Revisions: Incorporate feedback and make revisions to designs as needed. Ensure all designs are completed to the highest standard and within project deadlines.
- File Preparation: Prepare and optimize files for print and digital distribution. Ensure accuracy and quality in final deliverables.
- Trend Awareness: Stay updated on design trends, tools, and technologies. Apply relevant trends to create modern and engaging designs.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of professional experience in illustration and packaging design.
Skills:
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop is required.
- Good Hand Drawing Proficiency is required.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating illustration and packaging design skills.
- Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and visual composition.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creativity: Strong creative vision with the ability to think outside the box and develop unique design solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate design concepts and ideas effectively.
