Job Purpose
Operate oil pressing and filtration machinery to ensure efficient extraction, filtration, and transfer of edible oils while maintaining quality, hygiene, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate oil expellers, presses, and filtration units as per SOPs
- Monitor temperature, pressure, and flow parameters during extraction
- Ensure proper filtration and clarity of oil before transfer/storage
- Maintain hygiene, GMP, and food safety standards on the shop floor
- Record production data, oil yield, and losses accurately
- Identify abnormalities and report equipment or process deviations
- Coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns and routine checks
Minimize oil loss, spillage, and wastage during operations
Key Requirements & Preferred Skills:
- ITI / Diploma preferred (Mechanical / Food Processing)
- 0ā2 yearsā experience in oil mill or FMCG food processing unit
- Knowledge of oil extraction, filtration, and hygiene practices
Physically fit, detail-oriented, and safety conscious
