Packaging Quality /PM Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a Packaging Quality Executive responsible for inspection, testing, and approval of packaging materials including pouches, cartons, glass jars, PET jars, tin cans, and self-adhesive labels. The role ensures compliance with food safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct incoming inspection of all packaging materials as per approved specifications.

  • Perform required quality tests such as seal strength, leakage test, bursting strength, drop test, adhesion test, and print quality verification.

  • Verify COA (Certificate of Analysis) and ensure compliance with FSSAI and Legal Metrology requirements.

  • Approve or reject packaging materials based on defined quality standards.

  • Monitor packaging quality during production runs and ensure process adherence.

  • Handle packaging-related complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and coordinate with vendors for corrective actions.

  • Maintain proper documentation, test reports, and quality records.

  • Ensure hygiene and food safety compliance in packaging material handling.

Qualification & Experience

  • Degree/Diploma in Food Technology or Packaging Technology.

  • 2–3 years of experience in food/FMCG packaging quality control.

  • Strong knowledge of packaging material testing and food safety standards.
