QA Executive – Vendor Quality (Raw Materials)

Job Summary

We are looking for a QA Executive – Vendor Quality (Raw Materials) responsible for ensuring quality and food safety of raw materials such as wheat, jaggery, and other agri-commodities at vendor locations. The role involves regular inspections, sampling, vendor audits, and coordination with labs to ensure compliance with internal specifications and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quality inspections and audits at vendor sites for raw materials.

  • Perform sampling and evaluation of materials to ensure compliance with internal quality specifications.

  • Coordinate with external and in-house laboratories for testing of samples.

  • Maintain documentation including COAs, lab reports, traceability records, and audit reports.

  • Support vendor development initiatives and ensure implementation of food safety standards at vendor locations.

  • Monitor vendor performance and prepare periodic evaluation reports.

  • Assist during internal and external audits related to vendor quality and food safety compliance.

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory and company quality standards across sourcing locations.

Qualification & Experience

  • B.Tech / B.Sc. in Food Technology, Food Science, or Agriculture.

  • 1–3 years of experience in raw material quality assurance or vendor quality within the food industry.

  • Knowledge of food safety standards, sampling procedures, and testing of agri-commodities.

Key Skills

  • Strong understanding of quality parameters for wheat, jaggery, and other grains.

  • Familiarity with vendor audits and food safety documentation systems.

  • Good communication, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across vendor locations.
