QA – Labelling & Regulatory Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a QA – Labelling & Regulatory Executive responsible for ensuring end-to-end regulatory compliance of food products as per FSSAI and Legal Metrology standards. The role involves vendor license verification, artwork approval, product specification finalization, and validation of regulatory documents to ensure full compliance for own-brand products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify vendor licenses and ensure compliance as per FSSAI requirements for respective product categories.

  • Finalize product specifications with vendors, ensuring correct food categorization and regulatory compliance.

  • Ensure compliance with Legal Metrology mandates for all products.

  • Provide accurate product details (ingredients, nutritional information, declarations, claims) for artwork development as per FSSAI and Legal Metrology guidelines.

  • Conduct artwork verification and approval in line with existing and upcoming regulations.

  • Validate and verify Nutritional Analysis Reports, Shelf-Life Reports, and claim substantiation documents received from vendors or laboratories.

  • Ensure end-to-end compliance for product claims, stability, consistency, and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor compliance for all own-brand products as per FSSAI norms.

  • Maintain updated knowledge of food ingredients, food categorization, and applicable food laws.

  • Support internal and external audits related to food quality and regulatory systems.

Qualification & Experience

  • Degree in Food Technology / Food Science / Dairy Technology or related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in food labelling, regulatory compliance, or quality assurance.

  • Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulations, Legal Metrology Act, food laws, and quality systems.

  • Experience in artwork approval, documentation, and regulatory audits preferred.
