Description
South Indian Filter Coffee + Study Brass Davara
Filter Coffee
We are proud to collaborate with Native Araku Coffee (NAC), they work closely with the Adivasis around the dense forests of the Araku Valley in Andhra Pradesh. At TBOF, we were on the lookout for opportunities to work with tribal farmers, especially for Coffee. It was when we visited the valley and discovered the cherry-to-cup journey of coffee that we decided to partner with NAC to co-create avenues for exceptional Organic Coffee grown by the tribal farmers of the Valley. The Coffee beans have been custom roasted and bagged by NAC for TBOF.

Brass Davara
A sturdy Brass Davara - Cup Set to enjoy your coffee in true south Indian style!
The perfect addition to your breakfast table to enjoy crispy Ghee-roasted Dosa with chutney / sambar to make; enjoy frothy Hot coffee in this Brass Davara Tumbler.πβΊοΈπ
The vessel in which the filter coffee is served traditionally is called a Davara. It comes as a set; a tumbler and a wide small cup. The hot coffee is cooled to drinking temperature by pouring it back and forth between the tumbler and cup; almost an art form, beautiful to watch and delicious to drink.
Material used : Brass
Care Instructions - Can be washed with or without soap under tap water. Once washed, wipe dry to avoid stains.
Brass oxidises naturally as it contains copper. The oxide stains can be removed and the shine can be brought back with a mild scrub of tamarind paste, a small slice of lime or Brass polishing powder (pitambari).
The coffee is best before 12 months from the date of packaging.
